The first Christmas shopping day went,
So impressive with shoppers hellbent.
Some 200 million
Dropped 52 billion –
Sums retailers call “heaven-sent”…
Now the Super-Committee is done
And its clear that no party has won;
All the manda”try cuts
Must save all their butts,
As the political will hasn’t come.
Ms. Bachman as candidate vies
For the “Washington outsider” prize;
Claims she’s not to blame
For the”tax and spend” game,
But as Congressman this seems unwise!
Mitt Romney is leading the race,
As Republicans pick-up the pace;
His smile is just charming
His manner disarming,
But where do his policies place?
The SuperCommittee has failed,
Hopes for budget reduction impaled;
No matter the claim
Of who is to blame –
It”s the opposite party assailed!
Newt Gingrich is under attack
For advising the group Freddie Mac;
Though he offered advice,
And they paid a high price,
Its insolvency won’t set him back.
The rivals of Cain can’t dispute,
That his answer on Libya was mute;
Though no one knows why
It’s hard to deny
That his loss was a gain for one Newt!
