At his time of New Year Resolutions,
Of change and of new evolutions;
Stop smoking, just try it,
Learn yoga, or diet —
You’ll find in yourself the solutions!
It’s Christmas and Scrooge the old miser,
Receives visits from ghosts as advisors;
Shown the faults of his past
He reforms at long last,
Not just a good person, but wiser!
Speaker Newt has been singing the blues,
Claiming victim of negative news;
Mr. Romney runs ads
That dwell on Newt’s bads,
But it’s history he cannot refuse!
Mitt Romney made Perry a bet,
Over healthcare and benefits net;
Though it isn’t the gamble
That makes pundits ramble
But the revenues unlevied yet!
A deal over Eurozone rules,
Is good news, as lacking such tools,
The Eurozone leaders
Are heavy debt feeders —
And bondholders end up as fools!
Is the lead of Newt Gingrich a ruse?
As republican colleagues accuse,
The pundits all scream
That he hasn’t a team,
But the race is Mitt Romney’s to lose!
The President’s getting things wired,
To extend payroll tax cuts now mired;
To not do it faster
Is courting disaster —
At the end of the month they’ve expired!
