The Inaugural days did impress,
Though it also gave cause for distress;
With real issues scary
The media’s query
Was: “Who made the First Lady’s dress?”
Both candidates showed with discord,
What the full debate details record:
Each deftly was tweaking
The other one’s speaking —
With some facts and some figures ignored.
V-P allegations were legion,
On handling the middle-east region;
“On sanctions I’m stronger.”
“I’ve known Bibi longer.”
But both target Asad’s deletion!
And turning to middle class troubles
The verbiage on tax cuts just doubles;
But each fully knows
How the deficit grows,
And that kids will inherit this bubble.
The electorate sits primed and waiting,
To see Mitt and Barak debating;
But what’s more ad lib
Than their answers too glib?
It’s the day-after spin that I’m hating!
According to Romney’s retorts
Obama loves Chinese imports;
“His lack of defense
Of our jobs is immense –
He should have hauled Beijing to court!”
But Obama rejects such a claim;
“Fair trade with Beijing we maintain;
And Mitt is the man
Who out-sourced by plan,
In the name of his business with Bain!”
As campaign commercials amass,
One question above will surpass:
How much will they tax,
Or what benefits ax,
To best serve the large middle class?
The attendees in Charlotte know well.
The economy still isn’t swell;
But Barak lets them note
What they get with their vote
Is another four years of Michelle!
